Skilled and employable vocational training to tribal and School dropout youths

The organization has been working continuously for the past 19 years in the field of vocational skill training programs. In this direction we are being supported by FVTRS Bangalore for the last 10 years. With this support, we have so far trained more than 765 school dropout tribal youths of Sendhwa (district Barwani) in 19 different vocational trades and have been able to link them with employment or self-employment activities. Under these training programs, youth have been given technical training as well as entrepreneurship development and life skill training for the overall development of the youth. This work has been done at the community level for the past two years, which will lead to community participation in the process of skill development.

In addition to this, under the CSR activity of IGSSS, 160 youths of Badwah (Khargaon) have been given vocational skills training and have been linked with employment/self-employment activities. Under this program, youth are being trained in vocational trades like computer training, mobile repairing, electronic and sewing- embroidery.

In this direction we are also working with some other donors like with the help of Sitaram Jindal Foundation, PECSS has been working continuously for this last 08 years. Under which around 320 youth have got the benefit of vocational trainings. The Nehru Yuva Kendra (NYK Barwani) not only helps in the certification of trained youth but also provide support for giving skill training to the youths. Apart from this, the organization is also working to give skill training to nearly 100 youth every year by own sources.
