Success Story

Payal Badodiya, a 25-year-old young woman from Prabhat, always dreamed of becoming financially independent with the support of her husband. Married at an early age and educated up to 12th standard, she had limited exposure to the outside world and no prior technical experience. Entering the solar energy sector felt like stepping into an entirely new and challenging environment. However, her determination to stand on her own feet encouraged her to take the first bold step toward change.

Payal enrolled in Batch 4 of the Solar Panel Training program organized by PECSS in collaboration with DFT. During the training, she gained hands-on technical skills such as checking batteries, using a multimeter, repairing and maintaining electrical circuits, and installing and servicing solar panels. With consistent practice and dedication, she successfully completed the course and secured employment at RR Solar Tech showroom. Today, she earns ₹10,000 per month, contributing meaningfully to her household income.

With her own earnings, Payal has resumed her education and now supports her family financially. Her journey from a hesitant beginner to a skilled solar technician has boosted her confidence and brought pride to her family. Payal’s story reflects how skill development and the right opportunities can empower women to overcome social barriers, build self-reliance, and inspire others to pursue non-traditional career paths.
