Skill Development & Livelihoods

Building Skills, Creating Dignity, Securing Futures

For more than two decades, Priyanshi Educational, Cultural and Social Society (PECSS) has been helping youth and women move toward economic independence through market-driven skill development and livelihood promotion.

The approach is simple but powerful: align community needs with real industry demand—and back it with practical training plus long-term support.

Experience & Reach

  • 9,550+ youth and women trained
  • Training across 20+ vocational trades
  • 7,105 individuals placed in wage or self-employment

That’s not just training numbers—it’s income generation, restored dignity, and economic stability for thousands of families.

Geographic Footprint

Programs are actively implemented across:

  • Bhopal
  • Barwani district
  • Dhar district
  • Satna district
  • Chhindwara district
  • Hoshangabad
  • Chittorgarh district

With 600+ youth trained annually in Barwani and Dhar alone.

Current Focus Areas

PECSS balances traditional trades with future-ready, green skills:

  • Solar Installation & Maintenance
  • Electric Vehicle (EV) Technician & Basic Electrician
  • Beautician & Personal Care Services
  • Sewing and Tailoring
  • Computer & Digital Skills
  • Plumbing and Electrical trades

Each course blends theory, practical exposure, and real-world application.

Women in Non-Traditional Trades

Breaking stereotypes, PECSS runs a Solar Installation & Maintenance program for girls in Bhopal, preparing young women to enter the renewable energy workforce.

Women are also being trained in:

  • EV repair and maintenance
  • Electrical trades
  • Driving and technical services

This shift isn’t just about skills—it’s about rewriting economic roles and opening new income pathways.

Entrepreneurship & Life Skills Integration

Technical training alone isn’t enough. PECSS integrates Entrepreneurship Development Programs (EDP) and life skills across all initiatives.

Key areas include:

  • Business planning & enterprise setup
  • Financial literacy & cost management
  • Market linkage & customer engagement
  • Communication & leadership development
  • Confidence building & workplace readiness

Post-training mentorship ensures first-generation entrepreneurs receive continued handholding as they transition into independent earners and job creators.

Impact & National Alignment

These initiatives contribute to:

  • Increased employability and income generation
  • Higher workforce participation among women
  • Growth of micro-enterprises and local economies
  • Alignment with Skill India and India’s green energy transition

The transformation is visible—youth move from uncertainty to confidence, and women from dependence to economic leadership.
