Padma Yadav, a 25-year-old resident of Nalchha village, once struggled to manage her household due to financial instability and the absence of a steady income source. Although she possessed basic stitching skills, the lack of proper training, modern techniques, and business knowledge limited her earnings. With growing responsibilities and concerns about her family’s future, Padma often wondered how she could provide a better life for her children and strengthen her household’s financial condition.

In July 2025, Priyanshi Educational Cultural Social Society (PECSS), in collaboration with the Desai Foundation, initiated a stitching training program in Nalchha village. Padma embraced this opportunity as a turning point in her life and participated with dedication and determination. During the training, she learned to operate modern stitching machines, create new clothing designs and patterns, and gained basic knowledge of managing a small tailoring business. Continuous guidance and encouragement from the organization further strengthened her confidence.

After successfully completing the training, Padma established her own tailoring unit under the name “Radha Silai Center.” Today, she stitches clothes for women and children in her village and earns a steady monthly income of ₹8,000. Her improved earnings have enhanced her family’s financial stability and made her self-reliant. Padma’s journey demonstrates how timely skill development and proper support can empower women to transform their lives and inspire others within their communities.
